On a beautiful December day, I met up with Jovany Hernandez, his wife, and his young son, at a ballpark in Homestead, FL to make some portraits. The assignment was to photograph Jovany for Momentum MS Magazine, as Hernandez, at just 30 years old, has been living with a multiple sclerosis diagnosis since 2017.

As I came to discover during our photoshoot, although he’s living with MS, Jovany still maintains a fulfilling and active lifestyle- managing to be a hands-on dad to his young son, running a successful DJing business, and playing softball five days a week.
