A few months back I was invited to collaborate with Fitzco, an Atlanta-based ad agency, to photograph a regional advertising campaign for Synovus bank. For this project, my team and I got to hop is a big blue cargo van and take a little road trip around South and Central Florida, during which, we photographed seven Synovus bankers, in six cities, over six days.

Since Synovus's slogan is "The Bank of Here" the goal was to make environmental portraits of these real bankers in their real home cities, showing them outside of work, being a part of their local community. In order to give a sense of each place, we photographed the subjects in recognizable locations around Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Orlando, and Naples.

Making portraits of these real bankers within the real cities they live, for this advertising campaign, was a refreshing and authentic approach that I appreciated as a photographer, since so often actors and/or models are used in place of the real people.
