I'm excited to share the second leg of the advertising campaign I photographed for Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center a while back. Talk about a dream job! I worked with M&C Saatchi LA to produce eight portraits of talent, at various 'unique to South Florida' locations, which ranged all the way from Hollywood to Coral Gables. We shot all eight portraits over two days, allowing only about two hours per location. I really enjoyed scouting for the perfect background in each neighborhood, during pre-production, but I knew fitting in four locations per day would be a challenge. (Thank goodness for perfect weather, only one minor traffic jam, and my amazing producer, Spike Molina.)The first leg included portraits of strong women for the 'Unique Breast Cancer/Unique Treatment' campaign, with this portion being focused on men.It's been fun to see billboards (like the one below), print ads, and trolley-wraps around town.
